Bayer ACA/ACM OSBL utilities expansion - Upgrade and integration of utilities infrastructure and systems; steam, chilled water, cooling water, caustic to meet plant requirements. Provide technical specifications of utilities systems for inclusion in project contract documents.

BASF Trilon project - Complete expansion of 50% caustic system, cooling water, steam, treated water, to support expansion.

Switch to High Load Factor electric power tariff and evaluation of a combined heat and power (CHP) gas turbine unit into the Site steam condensate return rate.

Implement steam feedforward control system to optimize utilization of Alabama Power Cogeneration system. Improvement in Site steam condensate return rate. 

Automation and optimization of the compressed air system (150TUS).

Hydrogen Network Optimization - Utilize Six-Sigma methodology to evaluate and reduce the variable cost of hydrogen for the production plants on the network

Team Lead SAP project - Plant Maintenance Module migration from P51 to R11.

2010-2014 Operations Supt.

Site Utilities Responsible - Managed and directed staff of 20 employees to support customer requirements for site utilities; steam, cooling water, etc. with 95%+ availability. Responsible for capital and expense budget ($5 Million total) and safe operation of the unit in compliance with Site EHSQ goals. - Utilities responsible for OPEX EEM plus project. 470# Steam Project responsible ($600TUS) - increase of primary steam supply pressure from 350 to 470 psig to support BASF and Aveneer projects, required coordination of technical and commercial aspects with Alabama Power Company. 

2008-2010 Asst Site Manager

Support Mobile Site technical department transition to high performance work teams with focus on reducing direct supervisor roles. Responsible for Site local procurement team and Utilities department.

2007-2008 Supt Utilities-Bio

Responsible capital and RM budget, manage and develop 25 person staff, manage and optimize utilities processes; steam, cooling water, natural gas, and waste water treatment process. Coordinate utilities supply with potential production plant investment and expansion. Project responsible for Sodium Methylate Infrastructure project ($1.7 million)

Project responsible Reverse Osmosis de-min water production project ($0.6), well water installation (0.6), SAP P51 power user team for Materials Management module

1999-2005 Stores Manager

Manage 20 person staff, RM and Capital budgets (400TUS), site spare parts inventory ($17 million). Completed the merger of Degussa and HULS storeroom organizations. Chosen SAP implementation project - Materials Management module responsible. Project responsible for Warehouse RF Bar Code System development and implementation

Responsible for cost and efficiency improvements for double contact sulfuric acid process, thirty mega-watt turbine generator system, and de-min water production facility

Sulfuric acid production engineer for three double contact process plants. Implemented control system to reduce costly failures in acid towers. Complete monthly utility balances for billing and cost reduction efforts
